Laco Café & Bistro

Found this little gem of a cafe tucked away on Underbank. Ordered the full breakfast which was excellent. The team here are lovely and friendly. Would highly recommend this cafe.

Lovely little place for breakfast with my wife and our youngest. Never been before and reviews were outstanding, so was looking forward to our visit. Menu was fantastic but opted for the Laco Mushrooms on Toast due to some of the reviews. I'd usually have a full English type plate, but this didn't disappoint! Full of flavour and lovely presentation. Wife's eggs Benedict was delicious too (as were our daughter's sausages!). Great staff and atmosphere. Will 100% be going back!

What a wonderful cafe this is. The service is first rate, nothing is too much trouble at all. We had a little bit of wait for a table which is completely understandable and not a problem at it’s a nice atmosphere and we had somewhere to sit. The staff are went attentive but also not intrusive. As a group we made a few changes and requests to our breakfasts and every single one was accommodate without a problem, something we’ve found tricky at others place. I had a full English and it was bang on, lovely bacon and sausages. We got a French toast to share and that was just a plate of delight!! They don’t skimp at all with the toppings and it wasn’t overly sweet which was just perfect! Will 100% be returning!!

Lovely little busy cafe, had to wait 5 mins to be seated as only a limited amount of seats, but worth waiting for and can understand why busy! The food was very nice indeed, The service was great and staff very pleasant too overall worth a visit 5/5

Excellent cafe for a bit to eat. We came here with friends who often go. Food was delicious and well presented. Coffee was delicious and the staff were very welcoming. 5min wait for a table with seating down the far end . Great atmosphere. Well priced for the quality.

had the French toast with an iced vanilla latte, and they were absolutely sensational! The French toast was incredibly soft and fluffy, bursting with flavour – easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The coffee? Sheer perfection. The iced vanilla latte was smooth, perfectly balanced, and just what I needed. To top it off, the owner, Marian, is such a lovely person, which made the whole experience even better. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!
